Eleven European teams qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™, of which Denmark, France, Germany and Spain have already booked their place
The remaining teams will contest UEFA play-offs at the end of the year

After Germany, Denmark, France and Spain booked their spots for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ last week, 32 teams were awaiting to know the road they would have to follow to join them at the global finals in Brazil.
After the conclusion of the group stage last week, 12 teams from League A, 12 teams from League B and eight teams from League C are assured a place in the play-off stage of the UEFA qualifiers.
Round 1 of European play-offs – to be played between 7 and 13 October – will comprise of two paths. Path 1 will see the four second-placed teams and four third-placed teams of League A play against the six first-placed teams and two best-ranked second-placed teams of League C. The teams from League A will be seeded and will therefore play the second leg at home. Path 2 will see the four fourth-placed teams of League A and four first-placed teams of League B play against the four second-placed teams and four third-placed teams of League B. Round 1 winners qualify to Round 2.
Round 2 – which will be played between 26 November and 5 December – will see the 16 Round 1 winners play each other in eight ties, the path 1 winners being seeded. The seven best-ranked Round 2 winners according to the 2026 Women’s European Qualifiers overall league rankings qualify directly to the FIFA Women's World Cup. The one remaining Round 2 winner qualifies to the Play-off Tournament.
