Tunisia have moved swiftly to replace Sabri Lamouchi, who was sacked after the team's opening match, by announcing the appointment of Herve Renard for the remainder of the tournament.
Lamouchi was relieved of his duties following the 5-1 defeat by Sweden in their opening match at Monterrey Stadium.
Renard now takes the reins at the Eagles of Carthage until the end of the global finals, although there is an agreement for a possible expansion of that role after the tournament.
In a statement, the Tunisian Football Association announced that the 57-year-old French coach, in charge of Saudi Arabia at the previous World Cup, will take immediate control of the side. Tunisia's next challenge comes against Japan on 20 June in Monterrey.
