Pacho and Caicedo headline Ecuador squad

Sebastian Beccacece has announced his squad for the . The South American team was eliminated at the group stage in Qatar 2022, and will be competing for a place in the knockout rounds with Côte d'Ivoire, Curaçao and Germany in .

Ecuador have only lost once since Argentine coach Beccacece took charge in 2024, a defeat that came in his first game in charge.

Ecuador's all-time leading scorer at the World Cup, Enner Valencia, will also be appearing at his third global finals. La Tricolor's talisman has six goals to his name from Brazil 2014 and Qatar 2022, and will once again spearhead his side's attack as they aim to match or improve upon their best result of a Round of 16 finish at Germany 2006.
