England, Ghana and Colombia are all targeting early qualification
Portugal aim for their first Group K win
Uzbekistan, Croatia and Panama need points on the board
England will look to build on their thrilling opening victory over Croatia as they take on Ghana in a clash of the Group L pace-setters, in one of four attractive Matchday 13 fixtures on Tuesday, 23 June.
While either the Three Lions or the Black Stars could seal early progress to the Round of 32 of – and potentially secure top spot too – Croatia will be seeking to bounce back from that England loss as they take on Panama.
Before that, the day will begin with the meeting of Portugal and Uzbekistan in Houston where Roberto Martinez’s men will try again for a first win in Group K – and Uzbekistan will target a first World Cup point. The action will concude with Colombia’s attempt to stamp their ticket to the knockout rounds against a Congo DR side who, buoyed by their draw with Portugal, will have other ideas.
