2026 World Cup Odds: Brazil Clinches Group C

The group stage is the first step toward World Cup glory.

All 48 nations playing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been divided into 12 groups (labeled A-L) of four teams.

With the expanded knockout format of 32 teams advancing past the group stage, winning the group has become more important than ever.

After the completion of Matchday 2, Mexico, the United States, Germany, and Argentina are the only four nations that have officially clinched first place in their groups.

Now, after Switzerland's massive 2-1 win over Canada, it has won Group B and also clinched a spot in the knockout round.

Switzerland will face a third-place team in either group E, F, G, I or J.

Brazil also clinched Group C on Wednesday after its dominating 3-0 win over Scotland.

The Seleção will face the second place team from Group F in the Round of 32.

While many groups remain wide open, Group I will be determined by the heavyweight showdown between France and Norway on Friday.

If France wins or draws, it clinches Group I.

If Norway wins, it tops the group.

Then on Saturday, Group K takes center stage as Portugal and Colombia meet in Miami in what could be the best match of the entire group stage.

Colombia sits atop the group with six points, while Portugal has four, setting up a showdown that will decide first place.

A Colombia win or draw would secure the group, while a Portugal victory would see it leapfrog Colombia and finish atop Group K.

Let's check out the latest odds for all 12 groups at FanDuel Sportsbook, as of June 24.
