Miroslav Klose has registered more victories than any other player in World Cup history: 17. The Germany striker is followed by Brazil full-back Cafu (16) and Argentina forward Lionel Messi (16), who could steal the record in North America. Klose played in five wins apiece at Korea/Japan 2002, Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010, and another two at Brazil 2014. It helped him become the only man to win four World Cup medals: one gold, one silver and two bronzes. The aerial specialist is also the top scorer in the competition’s history on 16 goals. He is followed by Brazilian Ronaldo (15) and West Germany's Gerd Muller (14). Messi (13) and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe (12) will challenge Klose’s reign at the forthcoming finals.
