Qualification confirmed for Egypt, England, Ghana, Paraguay and Portugal

, , and have all booked their places in the Round of 32 before kicking a ball in their final group matches, while participation has also been confirmed.

Those five teams have each reached four points, and thanks to results in having shifted the qualifying threshold, that is now enough to guarantee progression.

This scenario is significant under the format of , where the top two teams in each group and the eight best third-placed teams advance to the knockout stage.

Paraguay will now face Germany in the Round of 32, while Egypt, England, Ghana and Portugal's opponents will be determined by where they finish in their respective sections.
