Mexico return to action as France tackle Sweden

The third day of the knockouts is almost upon us, with a mouthwatering triple-header in store.

Dallas will play host to the first match, as and collide. Les Éléphants are making their debut in the knockout phase after finishing as runners-up in Group E. Stale Solbakken's side also took second place in their section, with Erling Haaland netting four times from two outings during their Group I campaign.

We're treated to an all-European affair later in the piece. Two-time champions will take a perfect record into their New York New Jersey match-up with a side who escaped Group F via third place. There's no shortage of attacking prowess on show in this one, with the pair having netted 17 goals between them during the groups.

Co-hosts round out the action when they face at Mexico City Stadium. El Tri have won eight and drawn two from ten World Cup matches at the storied venue, but the South Americans enter this one having lost just one of their previous 22 matches and are full of confidence following victory over Germany.
