England-Mexico one of four last-16 ties live on BBC TV

Kane scores late winner as England overcome DR Congo to reach last 16

England's match against Mexico is one of four World Cup last-16 games that will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with all eight matches being covered across BBC Sport.

The Three Lions set up the meeting with the tournament co-hosts by edging past DR Congo 2-1 in the last 32 .

They will meet at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City (Monday, 6 July, 01:00 BST).

The BBC will also show France v Paraguay on Saturday (22:00), with La Albirroja eliminating Germany on penalties in the previous round and going in search of another scalp against the 2022 World Cup winners.

European champions Spain will face either Iberian rivals Portugal or Croatia in Dallas on Monday 6 July (20:00), and that one will also be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

You can also watch co-hosts United States against Belgium, as Mauricio Pochettino's side aim to continue a historic run in the competition (Tuesday, 7 July, 01:00).

The remaining four last-16 ties will be shown on ITV.

Live radio commentary from every single match will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds, as well as live text coverage and expert analysis on the BBC Sport website and app.

For fans unable to stay up for all the matches, spoiler-free highlights are available on iPlayer , the BBC Sport app and BBC Football YouTube , external , external channel each morning.
