Kane scores late winner as England overcome DR Congo to reach last 16
The BBC will be launching a special 'Stay Up or Catch Up' offer for its live coverage of England's game against Mexico at the 2026 World Cup.
The last-16 tie, which will kick off at 01:00 BST on Monday, will be broadcast exclusively live on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer, with presenter Kelly Cates joined by Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart and Micah Richards.
In addition, there will also be a full no-spoiler re-run of the game on BBC Two from 07:10 BST, while a full re-run of the match will be available on demand from 06:00 BST on BBC iPlayer.
There will also be live radio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds, alongside live text coverage and in-match clips across the BBC Sport website and app.
An extended 15-minute highlights programme on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport Football YouTube channel will be available as well.
And fans can follow the match live in 3D on BBC Sport's popular World Cup 3D experience feature.
"World Cup knockout football is absolutely unmissable, but a 1:00am kick-off isn't realistic for everyone," said BBC director of sport Alex Kay-Jelski.
"We wanted to make sure there was an option for those fans who just can't stay up to experience one of England's biggest matches live.
"So, whether you're staying up to watch every minute live or waking up to catch every moment spoiler-free, BBC Sport has you covered this Monday.
"From our exclusive live broadcast to our dedicated catch-up experience, we're making it easier than ever for audiences to enjoy the World Cup on their terms."
What information do we collect from this quiz? A peak audience of 16.3 million people tuned in to watch England's dramatic 2-1 win over DR Congo in their last-32 knockout tie on Wednesday.
The 17:00 BST kick-off was watched on average by 14 million people on BBC TV, the most watched moment on the BBC this year.
England's World Cup group games against Croatia and Ghana kicked off at 21:00 while the Panama game was at 22:00.
The Croatia opener (15.4m peak) and win over Panama (13.8m peak) were shown on ITV, while the draw with Ghana attracted a peak audience of 15.4m on the BBC.
England manager Thomas Tuchel has urged parents to let their children stay up to watch the tie against Mexico, while pubs in England and Wales will be allowed to stay open until 05:00 on Monday for the game.
"There's so much school to go to, but the World Cup is every four years. Let them watch," said Tuchel after the win against DR Congo.
"There will be a big match in four days, and we need the support of everyone, especially the children."
